The rest of our week

Well I had a lot planned for school this week but it didn't really happen.  A friend of mine who teaches swim lessons asked me to bring the kids by for swim this week so Wed., Thurs., and Fri.  the kids went to swim lessons expect Mr. Man and the other two kids I watch.  Right by the swim lessons is a homeschool friend of ours who was also doing swim lessons so we just had to stop by for play time this week because we were already there anyway.  Also there were some other things that just kept popping up this week the regular school time just didn't happen but we tried new things and learned alot anyway this week.  Here are a few pictures of swim lessons.

 

The American Girl Store Dallas

So on Tuesday this week instead of doing real work we left the boys home with dad (he works nights and tues.  is the start of his weekend) and the girls, Grammie (my mom), and I headed out to the American Girls Store in Dallas.  We had a blast in our walk through time.  We loved seeing the dolls dressed up for all the different time periods.  The day we went they was the day they came out with two new dolls and a new set of books.  We didn't buy anything (just not enough money in our budget for that store) but we loved looking at everything.

I wish I had gotten more pictures but I got as carried away as the girls looking at all the dolls that we forgot to take more pictures.  After our great day at the store since we all dressed in dresses (because we wanted to be fancy)  we went out to eat at a nice sit down restaurant.  They were given a choice to eat at McDonald's but they wanted something fancy. We had Amore's in our hometown.  All in all it was a great fun day with the girl!  I hope we get to do it again soon.
