Halloween

Just finish making Halloween cupcakes that I was suppose to make several days ago but just wasn't feeling well enough to do it.  After taking the time to replace the eggs with egg replacer (for kids with food allergies).  Then one of them doesn't want frosting the other only wants frosting but there will not be sharing of course.  I find it very difficult with my food allergy kids because they seem to be the pickiest eats on top of limited eaters do to the food allergies.  I have some that won't eat any kind of cake, only one will eat muffins, my youngest pretty much sticks to rice crispy treats and oreos when it comes to desserts.  I am thinking of not baking any more and just investing in ice cream (for those that can have it) and oreos for my youngest.  The problem I love to bake and also when they see other desserts they want to try it but for some weird reason they just don't like it.  I am just tried of the crazy rut we seem to be in when it comes to food.  I keep trying to liven it up.  Oh well.  On better news we had a blast at our church Trunk or treat!  We had a witch, a vampire, a ballerina, and a cowboy (that is in age order by the way).  Mr. Man won the costume contest for his age group so I was very proud because his costume was stuff we had or cheep find we found like a hat we found at the resale store for $1.50 and the gun and belt for $5 at dollar general.  I will post pictures hopefully tomorrow and about our adventures trick or treating tonight.  Have a Happy Halloween!
